From DC to Colorado Springs to Chicago, we were firing on all cylinders during the week of Veterans Day raising awareness and support for the Special Operations Community. We are deeply grateful for our partners and donors who champion the vital work we do.
Pictured below, Congressman Darrell Issa and Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger conducted the first congressional hearing for the Jax Act. This was a monumental step in securing hard-earned and well-deserved care and support for women Special Operations veterans from Cultural Support Teams. Next, we express our heartfelt thanks to Miller Strategies for hearing our mission and being inspired to support and donate, especially on Veterans Day. Lastly, a huge thank you to our long-time supporters Jess Monago and Tony Nasharr for hosting a spectacular fundraising event at the Union League Club of Chicago, featuring a candid conversation with our board member, and former acting Secretary of Defense, Chris Miller.
