Webinar Series: Interlinkages and Partnerships for Security

You are currently viewing Webinar Series: Interlinkages and Partnerships for Security

No single government, research organization, or think-tank can address security-pressing issues in isolation. To this end, we are hosting the American Counterterrorism Targeting and Resilience Institute (ACTRI) to bring you a webinar series to facilitate expert forums to deliberate on these issues and uncover ways to establish partnerships moving forward. You won’t want to miss the first in the series on Interlinkages and Partnerships for Security; the Syrian protracted conflict, terrorism, and shifting geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East and their implications for US foreign policy as it confronts activities of the Islamic State, the involvement of Russia and China, and the impact of the Ukraine war on the counterterrorism policy in the Middle East.

Dr. Ardian Shajkovci, Director at American Counterterrorism Targeting and Resilience Institute will moderate the discussion and Katherine Zimmerman, Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Dr. Aaron Y. Zelin, Richard Borow Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, and our own Executive Director, David Cook, will serve as panelists.

The webinar will take place on 28 June 2023 at 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm ET on Zoom.
