We strongly support the Ensuring Justice for Camp Lejeune Victims Act, introduced by Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). This bipartisan legislation addresses critical flaws in the 2022 Camp Lejeune Justice Act to ensure Veterans, their families, and civilians can receive rightful compensation for illnesses caused by toxic water exposure at Camp Lejeune from 1953 to 1987. The bill clarifies the right to jury trials, sets fair attorney fees, and aims to resolve over 100,000 pending claims. With many victims critically ill or deceased, we urge Congress to act immediately to deliver long-overdue justice.
