Women in Special Operations

We’ve made monumental strides toward righting decades of wrongs against women in SOF, specifically through out advocacy of Cultural Support Team (CST) Veterans and our support for The Jax Act, named after our board member and CST Veteran, Jaclyn “Jax” Scott.

Why the Jax Act Matters

The Jax Act represents a critical step in righting the wrongs experienced by CST Veterans. These women broke barriers and faced the same dangers as their male counterparts in Special Operations, yet they’ve encountered systemic challenges in receiving recognition, benefits, and healthcare. Passing the Jax Act in 2025 will be a monumental victory for justice and equality within the military community.

Join Us in Making a Difference

We’re asking for the public’s help to support women in SOF and to help push The Jax Act across the finish line. There are a number of ways you can help:

1) Donate any amount you can (seriously, even $5 would help). All donations support women in SOF and push Congress to act to give these women the healthcare, benefits, and recognition they risked their lives for. Donate here!

2) Join us at Lost Rhino Brewing Company at our event on March 1, or another date to grab a special SOAA beer that will benefit women in SOF.

3) Follow us on social media and interact with and share our posts. It’s the best way to spread the message.

Also, a special thanks to Lost Rhino Brewing Company who jumped on board as soon as they heard of the issues facing these women and even created a special SOAA beer with proceeds benefitting women in SOF and the efforts to pass The Jax Act!
