We have made monumental strides toward righting decades of wrongs against Cultural Support Team (CST) Veterans. The Jax Act, named after our board member and CST Veteran, Jaclyn “Jax” Scott, addresses the unrecognized combat service of our SOF sisters and will ensure they receive the VA entitlements they earned and need.
We have sent a letter to the Honorable Speaker Mike Johnson, urging him to take action to advance the passage of the Jax Act through Congress. The Jax Act was approved by Committee, but it has yet to come to vote before the entire House. We need Speaker Johnson to stand up for CST Veterans by wielding his leadership to push this important bill across the finish line.
