John is a retired Marine Raider, published author, and expert in leadership and human performance. He serves as Director of Training and Education at the Marine Raider Training Center and continues to support the special operations community through his work with SOAA and service on the boards of several SOF organizations. Through his company, Walking Point, John delivers keynote presentations and coaching focused on leadership, performance under pressure, decision-making in uncertainty, and executive development. He lives with his wife in North Carolina.
