SFC(R) Jeremy Thompson is a seasoned national security professional whose career began as an All Source Intelligence Analyst with the 1st Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne). In this role, he operated across both strategic and tactical domains, supporting Special Forces ODA missions with critical intelligence that shaped operations on the ground and at command levels.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of several elite military and intelligence programs, including:

  • U.S. Army Airborne School
  • U.S. Army All Source Intelligence Analyst Course
  • U.S.Army S.E.R.E. Course
  • Governor’s Twenty Marksman “Lethality Group”
  • Defense Intelligence Agency’s Asymmetrical Warfare Intelligence Analysis Course
  • Joint Intelligence Activity Program for Interagency Collaboration with the FBI and CIA

His combat experience with Special Forces in Central Asia, coupled with global project work in several other countries, reflects a career marked by versatility and dedication. In 2014, Jeremy was awarded the prestigious Soldier’s Medal for Heroism and Valor for his courageous actions during a non-combat related incident.

After 22 years of distinguished active duty service, Jeremy retired in July 2022 and transitioned into the Department of Defense contracting sector, continuing his commitment to safeguarding national interests.

Beyond his military and intelligence contributions, Jeremy has been a steadfast advocate for service members. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Madison County Military Heritage Commission in Huntsville, Alabama, and held multiple leadership roles within the Enlisted National Guard Association, including:

  • Secretary, Enlisted National Guard Association of the United States
  • Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee
  • President, Enlisted National Guard Association of Alabama

Currently, Jeremy serves as the Executive Director of the Special Operations Association of America, where he champions the needs and recognition of the special operations community at the national level while shaping a vision for the organization to exceed in their three pillars of Politics and Policy, National Security, and Global / Domestic Operations.
