Bio: Bill Conrad is a conservative candidate for the U.S. Senate in Nevada. A West Point graduate, he served 31 years on active duty and in the reserve, including multiple tours in Afghanistan. He was elected twice to Modesto City Council, once as Vice Mayor. His top priorities are securing the border, balancing the budget, and maintaining national defense. Bill has devoted his life to serving our country and his community. On 9/11, Bill was called back to active duty.  In 2004/5, working hand in hand with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, he set up some of the first National Guard CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear Teams). From early 2008 to 2011, he served two tours in Afghanistan as a Civil Affairs Officer and one with 7th Group’s Engineering Officer. In 2012, in one of his last assignments in Afghanistan, as a GS-15, holding a TSSCI clearance, he was Director of Civil-Military Integration, providing senior-level supervision for 29 Human Terrain Teams in support of the Afghanistan Theater Commander.
